How to Know What God Wants – Wed 9/29

Why Catholic? Social & Lecture Series Topic: Dilemma, Discernment, and Decision: How to know what God wants? Speaker: Father Jeffrey Kirby Date: Wednesday, September 29th Time: 7:00 - 8:30 pm Location: Pauline Book & Media Center, 243 King Street - use back door. To desire what God wants. To seek what he wants. To accept what he wants. These are easy steps in our discipleship which are something made difficult by confusion and fear. The Lord can break through all of these barriers and allow us to know with love what he wants from us and what we are called to do for him. Come, and hear some thoughts along our way to know and serve the Lord. This September 29th kicks off our fourth annual Why Catholic? Social & Lecture Series. We are so fortunate to have Father Kirby as our first guest speaker of the year. He is a dynamic and bright young priest, an author of two books and radio show host of "Pathways to Rome". Father Kirby is eager to address our Young Adult Group to help us discern God's will for our lives! Fr. Jeffrey Kirby is a priest of the Diocese of Charleston, South Carolina. He received his bachelor s degree in history from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. While a seminarian at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, Fr.
